Great opportunity: production welder (South Dakota)

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Brown County, South Dakota. The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
