Vacancy available: foundry operative (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
