Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Jackson County, West Virginia. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On a typical shift you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear.
