Argon welder wanted in Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Monroe County, Florida. Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 3+ years on the tools preferred.
