Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour.
