You will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Performance bonus on top of base pay.
