The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
