Meat cutter wanted in Grenada County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Grenada County, Mississippi. The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
