Heavy goods vehicle driver — Taos County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Taos County, New Mexico. What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel The role involves log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
