Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Clay County, North Carolina. Day to day you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
