Scaffold fitter — Oceana County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Oceana County, Michigan. You will work on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
