Urgent requirement: power press operator (Michigan)

Join our team: we are hiring a power press operator in Saginaw County, Michigan. You will be based at an auto components factory. Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
