We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble cutter in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Your main tasks: • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
