Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in San Luis Obispo County, California. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
