You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime On a typical shift you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
