Urgent requirement: lift erector (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift erector in Monroe County, Illinois. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. On the job you will handle: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Six days a week, one day off.
