Slinger signaller — Forrest County

Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Forrest County, Mississippi. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 6+ years on the tools preferred.
