Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a road construction project. Day to day you will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals. Requirements: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
