Immediate opening: meat trimmer (South Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Charleston County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
