Steel erection rigger — Iron County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Iron County, Missouri. The role involves: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites We offer $6,500 per project plus benefits.
