Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Summers County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy production line. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Six days a week, one day off. $8,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
