Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Pickens County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
