Lift installation engineer wanted in Bedford County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables 6+ years on the tools preferred. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
