Urgent requirement: gtaw welder (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Shelby County, Illinois. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run.
