Quality assurance assistant • Malheur County, Oregon

Now hiring: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Malheur County, Oregon. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Full-time, day shift.
