Bar bender and fixer wanted in Cumberland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Cumberland County, New Jersey. The role involves: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
