Bar bender and fixer wanted in Rockwall County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Rockwall County, Texas. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day-to-day duties: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
