Vacancy available: aluminium TIG welder (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Rawlins County, Kansas. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience.
