We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Taylor County, West Virginia. On a typical shift you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
