The role involves back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
