Steel erection rigger • Anderson County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Anderson County, Tennessee. You will work at a container port. Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
