Vacancy available: tig welder (Minnesota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Douglas County, Minnesota. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
