We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in Sonoma County, California. You will be based in a busy laundry. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments.
