Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Yagba West, Kogi State. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Your main tasks: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
