Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites The role involves establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
