Reinforcement fitter — Oron

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at a high-rise construction project. On the job you will handle: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
