Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Towner County, North Dakota. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
