Trailer driver wanted in Isles of Scilly

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trailer driver in Isles of Scilly, England. The job is at a container freight yard. On a typical shift you will operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays. You should have: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Current Driver CPC qualification card Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
