Long-haul driver • Boone County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Boone County, Iowa. The job is at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars You should have: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Full-time, day shift.
