Tailor machinist wanted in Douglas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Douglas County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus The role involves operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
