Brick and block layer wanted in Bladen County

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Bladen County, North Carolina. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
