Urgent requirement: lathe operator (Louisiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Union Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an auto-parts workshop. On a typical shift you will report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; set up and start the machine as per the job card; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
