Bar bender and fixer wanted in Mora County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Mora County, New Mexico. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. You will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Part-time with flexible hours.
