Fabricator-welder wanted in Cardiff

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Cardiff, Wales. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Pay around £13 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
