Vacancy available: we are hiring a chef de partie in Martin County, Indiana. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Day to day you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
