Garden maintenance worker wanted in Person County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Person County, North Carolina. You will work in a public park. On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
