Lifting rigger wanted in Ogbia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Ogbia, Bayelsa State. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
