Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. The role involves patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
