Finish carpenter • Knox County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Knox County, Nebraska. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day to day you will check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
