Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Caroline County, Maryland. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder 6+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
